Have option on two 10mm's. A 1076 with orginal box, papers, cleaning kit ect. Shot very little ( 200 rounds ) or a Colt double eagle. Also with box and papers,600 rounds.
S&W $475.00 plus shipping.
Colt double eagle $699.00
Havent shot either. Want to use in woods in alaska as back up.I know i should get a hi cap glock. Any thoughts would be appricated, Thanks!

I havent checked out the decocker fix yet but i am aware of it. Its my understanding Smith will do the fix.

I'd take the 1076. They're sturdy and reliable, among the best autos ever to come out of Springfield.

The Double Eagle has a pretty spotty record, and there's no justification for a price tag of that magnitude.

I'd say get the Smith, just because getting any kind of parts/support for a Double Eagle will be a nightmare. Now of the other gun was a Delta Elite that would be a different story (for me at least :D ).
