to run off to the grocery store just so you can "swing" by the gun shop for a quick look and and a sniff of Hoppe's?

If there was a gun shop here in the town where I live, I would do just that. The nearest gun shop is 25mi away. It is better for me to just "come clean", and plan the gun shop trip as part of the itinerary. :)

The nearest Costco is next door to the largest gun shop in town. I've stopped by to gawk at guns, etc. on the way into Costco a few times, but I usually tell my wife afterward.
 
When I was facing a little budget crunch, my roomie suggested a part time job. I agreed and got a job working part time at the gun store I used to manage.

I shudder to think how much that part time job has cost me...

Last Thursday I stopped by my favorite gun shop on the way home from work. I got to talking with the guys there and lost track of time. My cell phone rings. I answer and my wife says "You're at Dury's, aren't you." Busted! :o

I drive past (sometimes ;) ) two gunshops on my way home from work. :)

I just usually stop after work,I can usually still beat the wife home :)
