Adjusting sights on XD

I am getting a good group on target, but everything is just left of bullseye. On the XD it looks like the sights are dovetailed in the slide, how much effort is required to drift the sight over? I didn't see any set screw locking it down and when I taped it with drift andhammer it wouldn't budge. I was afraid to hit it real hard in fear of damaging the slide or sight itself. Any help? Have a few other people shoot the XD, particular somebody who's put a few rounds through an XD. If the pistol shoots left for everybody, then maybe the sight needs drifting. I'd suggest the use of a sight pusher.
