Adjustable aftermarket stocks?

Does anyone know of a reasonably priced adjustable stock that can replace a factory 11-87 stock? I performed an internet search, but the only ones I found were over $750!

Do you want an adjustable buttplate, or an adjustable cheekpiece, or both?

What game are you shooting, Trap, Skeet or Sporting?

Can you install it yourself?

they will send you a catalog if you request it, everyone should have one, lots of different styles in there.

If you want it done professionally, check with the local Trap & skeet Club, they usually have contacts with gunsmiths who do the work, also magazines like Shotgun Sports and Sporting Clays often have advertisements from companies that do the work.

My own opinion is that they are more trouble then they are worth, they can work loose and change adjustments over time. Also shooters often constantly adjust them to compensate for poor technique, and never really do it right

Jack West in the Pacific NW sells a synthetic, adjustable-comb stock for the Remington auto and pump shotguns...don't know if he's got a web site, but he advertises in all the "shotgun" rags...FWIW....mikey357
