Adirondacks Hunting

I'm a member of a hunting club near Stillwater Resevoir in the Adirondacks. When I was a teenager I hunted their as a guest. Joined the Army, a while later a opening at the club became available, I took it and became a paying member, and Uncle Sam as kept me so busy since I haven't had a chance to go back even though I pay my dues every year. Next year though will be different, I'll be their for early bear and muzzleloader hopefully.

Been there, I have a friend that owns 13 acres in the middle of state land back in towards Atwell. I haven't hunted there in a few years because I'm still teaching my springoff how to crawl through the woods. He wants to go hunting for a bruin someday and I might have to call my old bud. There are so many places to hunt in the mountains that I'd have to spend the entire summer scouting and the wife may have some negative comments about that; especially with the price of gas. I have some family there, and it might be a chance to get up and see them though.
