Additional revolver options?

I see a lot of posts regarding Ruger and Taurus revolvers (occasionally Colt) for those avoiding S&W, but only a couple of incidental comments about Dan Wesson revolvers. From their website, the company appears to produce a good selection of revolvers though at a higher cost than Ruger or Taurus. Are the Dan Wesson revolvers a good quality gun?

I owned a Dan Wesson for almost 20 years. It was a fine revolver.
I guess we forget about Dan Wesson. They were out of business for a few years...it'll take a bit of time to get gun buyers to recognize their existance again.
I don't know if they still sell the revolvers with interchangible barrels...that was their big thing in the '70's when I bought mine.
BTW, the only reason I sold mine was to buy a Glock. In the mid eightie's, there was a movement to ban them as a terrorist weapon...you know...Feinstein, Schumer and those type of low rent trailer park child eating scum.

I have a DW .357...about 19yrs. old. I am a big fan of their products. They went out of business...but are back with a new owner. They still make interchangeable barrels and shrouds.Mine is a tack driver. They also are coming out with a new 1911 style .45acp.I don't think they were all that popular.with the shooting community, which tends to be very conservative. The very first models had the barrel nut exposed at the muzzle. A very heinous looking device.I think it turned a lot of shooters off. Most people were buying Colts and S&W back then.
