I should have bought the 586-3 used for half the price, but I didn't. I bought this limited edition and hope to have it in my sweaty paws sometime next week. Didn't any of you see this on Auction Arms? Why didn't you bid on it??? Just once, instead of leaving it there for me??? What can I tell you. I'm Weak, Weak!!! NO BACKBONE!!

Bullrock, Nice pickup!! :) If the trigger is as sweet as my 586-4, you'll absolutely love it...BTW those grips look great. :D Enjoy....Norm.

Hey Plainsman! Will you be acompanying me to my bankruptcy hearing??? ;)

HiYah, Jonathan. Don't know...Haven't had a chance to look it up. Maybe someone can help... :D

Bullrock, find a set of the Miculek grips for that gun and see how you like them. I bought a set and was really surprised to find they were the best handling and shooting grips I have used. I think they would make that pretty blue seven shooter a super nice gun.

hey Bullrock!

Let me know when the bankruptcy auction is and I'll pick up a few new toys! Maybe I'll even let you shoot a couple of them! :D :p

But I prefer a SW square butt like this...
Now there's a man after my own heart!
There's darn few of us that prefer the stock Smith oversized target grips on the old sqaure butt frame.

Well, Thank you! I find the factory checkered grips on the model 29 (.44 Mags.) tend to extract skin from the palm of my hand, so I just ordered a new pair of smooths to replace.

New 586-7

I just got home with my 586-7. The action on this revolver is absolutely superb! The hammer is at full cock on the 3rd click back. It feels allot like Colt action.

Can't shoot it tomorrow, weather. Wednesday morning looks good, then I'll know what I bought. ;) :D :D
