This last weekend, I was at my LGS browsing the cases. I found a Kimber Eclipse Custom II in 10mm that was in excellent condition, and ended up getting it for $799 + tax. I was very happy with that deal!
I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I'm planning on taking it out this weekend and put some rounds through it.
I swapped out the grips with a set of grey Hogue Extreme G10 grips I had laying around. They are in the photo below. I ended up switching back to the factory grips. I think that they look better. I really like the look of the Eclipse.
I also picked up a new Kimber SOLO STS 9mm as well. It was NIB. I really like the size and feel of it. It is really well built. There have been mixed reviews online, but mostly due to using weak 115gr target ammo. Hopefully mine will be flawless.
