For those of you who want to contact your elected officials, Gun Owners of America makes it easy.
Go to http://www.gunowners.org/activism.htm and select "send message" from the Write To Congress area. You will be directed to enter your zip code to determine who your Reps are. After that, you can select a pre-written GOA letter or compose your own.
Your letter will then be emailed or faxed (your choice, but I prefer the fax) to all House and Senate members in your district/state.
There are three pre-written letters there concerning pending anti-gun and pro-gun legislation. Please take 5 minutes and send them. Remember to add your name and a closing statement to the bottom of these letters. You don't need to be a GOA member to do any of this, but you should join up if you haven't. Also, find out about your local chapter of the GOA (mine is in my signature) and join/support them.
Let's get 6,500 TFL faxes on the way.
