I do the opposite--only do the front enough to get the action level in the stock then torque the rear holding the rifle vertically pushing down. How much torque I do depends on how solid the bedding/pillar is (or is not). Most accustocks these days I believe come with a steel or aluminum sleeve in the screw holes--but there still may be "squishable" plastic in the trigger guard etc. so it's better not to go too hard on the torque.
