Action job for GP 100

Hello everyone. I have just beeen bitten by the pin shooting bug, and would like to run a revolver. However, I will not but a S&W. I like the GP 100, but have some questions: Is it true that a Ruger revolver cannot be tuned as well as a Smith? Also, the trigger on the GP 100 pinches my finger between the trigger and the frame. Ouch! Any ideas on how to remedy this problem?

Thank you in advance

colonel,

The ruger trigger is quite easy to improve. A Wolff spring kit and some polishing makes a dramatic change. You should be able to round the bottom of the trigger edge so it doesn't pinch, with some carefull sanding and stoning.

BTW: You may want to check out the Dan Wesson 7460. Six rounds of .45 acp/super/roland/win mag using full moon clips. Add a 4" compensated barrel/shroud combination and you'd have a very slick set up for pins.
