so... Turns out its not too shabby for an $80 sight. I've got 400 rounds down range now and she's still hold'in zero! zero is 100yrds, the bdc is money at 25-200. not sure I would recommend to a friend but I am pleasantly surprised.
i have been curious about one of those. not for anything serious, but just to have it and play. I heard several good reviews from ar15.com about one company in particular, they run about 120$ and have clones of about everything. but everyone who has one seems to enjoy them. it's not like your blowing your life savings on it, so it's not a big deal if isn't perfect......but "IN MY OPINION", could be worth a try. I would never spend the money on a real one regardless, so it's not like I am taking money out of anyone's pocket by getting a counterfeit
it can be really annoying how heated people get about the subject of cheap scopes. I don't think every gun I own needs to be "battle" ready, and some guns(I mean most) are for pure fun. I would feel different if I was on the from lines and I got issued a NcStar, but I am not....
The middle of the road optics seem to be the best value.
Unless the high line and expensive ones are actually needed, for most of us there's plenty of very good scopes available at modest prices, these days.
The quality of optics have really improved, across the board, in recent years.
