I normally use various grease type lubricants with maxi balls in a T/C Renegade, and have excellent accuracy results. I’ve used these lubes for hunting before on numerous occasions, but only in far cooler outside air temperatures than those I will be hunting in this year. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried just plain old RCBS cast bullet lube with the maxi balls before, and if it made any appreciable difference in accuracy. I think it should work just fine, and a lot more pleasant to deal with than runny grease in a speed-loader.
