Hi, i am looking into getting a Para in either 14.45 Ltd or 16.40 Ltd. I will be using it for indoor range only. Is one caliber more accurate than the other? Is there a significant difference in recoil between the two calibers in the para? What caliber would you recommend?

Also, what kind of accuracy would i expect from 25 yards. I have read many articles in Gun Mags saying i would expect 2.5 inches. But i am not that sure how reliable gun mags are.

Well ...

I have both. I reload .45 for several guns, and so my ammunition probably makes a big difference, but I favor the P-14. From sand bags, I grouped <5" @ 100yds with it. Mine is the stainless P-14 with a limited Carbon Blue slide that I bought later. HTH

I had a P16. Didn't care for it much. I blamed the round more than the gun. The Para's I've shot have been nice guns. That said, my preference is w/ the P14 ;)

I've got a stainless P14 that I bought to use exclusively as a USPSA Limited gun. Before the new trigger, sights etc., the first 5 shots-at 25 yards- were all touching each other. I'd say it's a pretty accurate pistol....
