Are conversion-cylinder .36 caliber percussion revolvers accurate? I find it kind of hard to believe that a .375 caliber bore can accurately fire a .357 bullet, even with a hollow base and bullet obturation. Since the bullet is smaller than the bore, one would think that there would have to be utmost cylinder/bore alignment to get the bullet starting down the center of the bore so that the expanding base would equally grip the rifling. I've considered getting a conversion cylinder but would like to get some feedback from people that have used them about the accuracy.
