Hi, whats a bulk .22 ammo., is very accurate? I usually buy cci mini mags, but theres never a good deal on them bulk wise. I see these 300 - 2100 packs of bulk winchesters and federal in burgandy and gold boxes. I'm not sure whats reliable and accurate. Anyone have a little experiance w/ this?
Any comments are welcome.

.22 caliber firearms are notoriously picky when it comes to ammo brands and types. Different models, even different guns of the same make and model shoot different ammuntion with greater/ lesser effectiveness.

Your best bet may be to buy a box or two of several different brands, velocities, bullet weights, etc. and try them all out. Through experimenting you will find the best brand for your individual firearm. Then once you find what works, see if it is available in bulk.

Get a rim thickness gauge, grade the ammo into like lots. It allows you to use rim fire rounds with like head spacing.

You'll be amazed at how accurate cheap bulk ammo can be.

Rem Golden . . . not.

If you want reliable ammo you should stay away from Remington Golden. My experience is has been that the misfire rate is 3 to 8 percent and thats stays constant no matter what gun I'm shooting.

I've had good experience with Blazer.

I'm thinkin 10-22 as far as a rifle, thats nice that Proffessor Young threw in his % on duds. Anyone know how many misfires they had w/ the marroon box of federals? Or does anyone think they get more squirrels w/ a particular bulk? So figuring it's a 10 22.
