Accu-trigger question

I have relatively small hands, and the Savage ML II that I bought, makes me have to pull the trigger a little off center. As you know the sear blocks the firing pin, and the rifle has to be re-cocked in order to fire, when this happens. This is no big deal at the range, but when your aimed at a Big Buck during hunting season, it is just one more thing to go wrong. I want the gun to go bang when I pull the trigger, every time.

Question is, if I remove the accutrigger, will it hurt the functionality of the rifle?

Yes I understand it is a safety oriented thing, but will it's removal make it any worse that a rifle without accutrigger?
