As I have an AC556, I am always looking out for what parts kits sell for. There's a downward trend in price and I think one or more people may be sitting on a large quantity of parts kits. However, I think they are being very careful to only list one at a time on ebay or gunbroker to try and keep the prices up.
Still, I've seen the price of these kits fall from about $1,100 to around $800. I even purchased a fire-control group recently for $450, since that's mainly all I need for a spare.
I'm wondering if these parts kits are from the ones from decommissioned Bermuda AC556's?
