? about the rear sights

ok here is my question.

Most guns have adjustable rear sights that move left/right, now some guns have adjustable rear sights that don't move left/right they rotate around the the screw in the middle.

Does it matter, does it produce the same results or it is a big difference???

On all of my handgun(the one that have a sight that can move left/right) I have to adjust the rear sight about .06" to the right, will the result be the same if I take a pistol the one that has a rotational rear sight and rotate it counter clock wise???

ok imagine a rear sight with one hole in the middle and a screw that goes thru the sight and the gun. If you imagine that, then the only way to adjust it is to rotate the sight around the screw (clock or counter clock wise)

I've never seen such a setup before.

There are however rear sights that have set screws that hold the rear sight in place. (loosen screw, drift sight, tighten screw).

Then there are click adjustable rear sights that have screws that elevate or lower the rear sight. (Some revolvers, some autos).

Beyond that I'm at a loss.........

I see, yes it is exactly the pistol that I have as shown. Well, I guess I would have to modify the sight my self. SO the sights that have one screw only are considered fixed huh

The old Glock adjustable sights only allow for elevation adjustments (no windage). That's the only one I can think of.
