A2 flash hider

Im just finishing my first build and finished my A2 flash hider. After hand tightening onto crush washer, I only needed about 1/8 of a turn to get the ports indexed properly. It did not take much torque at all with the wrench. It seems as though the crush washer didnt crush much if at all. Should I try and go one more full revolution? Or call it good?

If the low torque bothers you, use a dab of blue Locktite on the threads.

I would not torque the FH another revolution because you can distort the end of the barrel with negative effect on accuracy.

You won't get another full turn. Crush washers will give you 1/2-3/4 of a turn before they bottom out. 1/8th of a turn (45 degrees) will do just fine.

Could you take it out and get a picture of how much flash signature you are getting and post it?

Even better photograph flash signature with nothing on the muzzle and post that as well.

You will be utterly amazed as to the difference.
