Been looking for a Riot shoty and found a Remington 870 LE made in 1978, only has a few rds through it. Walnut stock, no rear sights just a front bead, parkerized finished. Any idea what its worth? Thanks guys

It's worth what someone will pay for it.

Around here, I might sprain my wrist getting out my wallet if it was priced at $200.

At $300, I'd pass but others who lack the 5 870s now here might go for it big time.

I would say that is a somewhat desireable gun if it is a wingmaster police version. Those ones with the walnut furniture are probably the best looking and most functional 870 riot/police shotgun.

Yes it is the Wingmaster version, it is the older stlye LE model ,he is asking $350.00 . I really have no idea what they are selling for

Key word...asking...now for your offer, if it's truly in good shape offer $275 and meet him in the middle somewhere.

Nothing wrong with trying to get him to come down a little, but while you are trying to save a few bucks it could get away. I would try to get him down a little, but if I really wanted it I would pay the asking prioce before I would walk away.

In that condition, and with those features that is a steal compared to what a new one with similar features would cost. A new wingmaster is $650, they do not offer real parkerizing any more, and if it has been shot as little as they say it is still basically new.
