I went to the range this afternoon to do some .38spl practice and chrono my latest .44Mags.
When I got there my area was free, but the adjacent area (two ranges are back to back, seperated by some corrugated perspex) was full of police officers, practising.
Once my chrono was set up (which piqued some interest in some of the officers), I went in to let them know I was about to fire, in case they wanted to put on their ear-protection.
They sort of nodded as if to say "OK, but why the fuss?"
I then fired my first cylinder of .44s...
As I turned around to get a refill, I could see a dozen LEO noses pressed up against the perspex trying to see what the heck that noise had been....
Made me chuckle inside!!
