I want to express my gratitude to each and every Veteran and member of the Armed Services who participate on this forum, as I believe there are several from reading past posts.

I, along with my family appreciate very much the sacrifices made by you, your families, and your fellow service members. You and your kind secure the blessings of liberty which we as a people have been granted.

It is your doing, which makes so many in the world want to call America thier home. Happy Veterans Day to you, and Thank You from all of us.

My Thanks to the Veterans as well.

One of my close friends is currently stationed with the US Army in Baghdad, and I wish him a safe return home. I don't agree with the war, but I'm confident he's doing the best that he can.

My late father was a WWII vet, three years in France and Germany. He was more of a man than I will ever be.

Te Anau,
Could it be that a large percentage of our membership is made up of veterans? Mrs. Manners will tell you it is not polite to thank ones self.

I am in the veteran boat. I appreciate the thanks, and extend my thanks to my fellow vets.

from one vet to the rest of my brothers and sisters who are and were in uniform thank you all for your time and service and to thank you all for such kind words for its people like you I continue what I do.

Another thanks from one vet to all, past, present and future. One might get the idea that nobody around here cares much for the country. They would be confused-we all hope for a better government, but the people are still worth it. First, last and always.
