A Sig P239 .357 for $441.99. Good Price?

NIB from Guns & Knives in Florida. KyImports doesn't carry this gun, and I haven't found it elsewhere on the net. (Local dealer is $599)

I followed up with KyImports, and the best price they would quote for the P239 was $420, IF they could get them. According to Ky, Sig is not making them for awhile. Sounds like the P228 embargo.

Just thought I'd pass that along. Apparantly Guns & Knives is the best source right now.
 
SIG Arms is "suffering" from something few manufacturers can claim to ail them, tremendous sales. They can hardly keep up with demand. Get the P239, I think it's a great price. I just saw a 9mm one last week for $530. When I went back to the same shop two laters it was gone. If I didn't like the P228 so much I wouldn't think twice about relying on a P239.

I think this gun-ban noise is creating a demand which will, in the end, prevent all of the opportunistic politicians to find another "golden calf".

I bought the gun. Now, the p228 is in my sights.
