A Sig P220 is finally mine!

My first centerfire pistol that I ever bought was a Sig P226 9mm. That was back in the days when I thought that if it wasn't a hi-cap, it wasn't worth having. I later bought two more Sigs...a P229 .40 S&W and a P230 .380 ACP. I later bought a .357 Sig barrel for the P229. I have since sold all three, not really because I didn't like them, but because I found some other guns that I liked better. I still have acess to the P229 as I sold it to my Dad. I always said that if I had bought a P220 .45 ACP instead of any of the other three, I would still have it. Well, a buddy of mine has had a P220 .45 for a while and taken great care of it and shot it very little. He has fallen hopelessly in love with the new P220ST, so I made him a proposition. I bought the P220 from him and he reinvested my money in a new P220ST for himself. I have always had a passion for the all nickel (not 2-tone) sigs that they used to make. So I plan to send it off to Robar for a NP3 treatment. The trigger on this P220 is noticeably heavier than my other Sigs I have owned. It also has a noticeably longer takeup (slack before meeting resistance) in the double action mode than my other Sigs. It has the serrated trigger. I think it needs a trigger job to lighten and smooth out the pull and remove some of the takeup. I also would like a smooth face trigger installed. I have two options that I know of. I can have Sig do it, or I can have T.J.'s Custom do it. Both offer trigger jobs and smooth, short triggers. The only real difference that I have found is that T.J.'s trigger is stainless and Sigs is black. Has anybody experienced trigger work from either Sig or T.J.? Has anybody had a Sig refinished in Robar NP3? Give me some feedback. Thanks!

Congrat's sundance,
