Can a person that has had a conviction set aside, who can legally purchase guns and obtain multi state CPL,CWP,apply for and get a FFL?
I know I'm new and this is my 1st post, but I just found this site,I'm on 3 other gun forums with the same screen name.

The BEST answer is "find a lawyer who is knowledgeable in firearms law and pay him/her for the time to get a good answer."

When in doubt, a few bucks is a worthy exchange to get a reliable answer that will keep you out of the gray bar hotel.

I was just seeing if anyone knew on here. If I decide to pursue getting a FFL I'll just go right to ATF,no reason to ask a lawyer, they can't arrest you for asking them a question.

Shouldn't be a problem. I know of one guy who's had several brushes with the law (including having his CWP revoked) who got an FFL somewhat recently.

I've only had one brush with the law, that was 28yrs ago,I'm just glad I was fortunate enough to get a 2nd chance.
