Not what you think:
I'm going to run a series of economical entries, aimed at entry level, guns over the next few weeks over in lock 'n load. I'll list the total costs involved, gun, ammo, targets, eyes/ears and range time so it can give people an idea of what's involved in getting started. I'll be starting with the CZ75B, since I have some handloads to test out. Here in a nut shell is what I have planned:
New-CZ75B-Good entry semi auto, suitable for HD, and possible carry. Total cost->$450.00
Used-S&W(pre of course) Model 19-Good entry, excellent value, suitable for HD and possible carry. Total cost->$350.00
New-.22 Semi Auto pistol-Ruger .22/45-Good Entry plinker. Total cost->$300.00
Used .22Rifle-Marlin/Glenfield model 60-Good available entry level semi-auto .22 plinker-Total cost >$200.00
I'm going to try to complete as many of these as I can before the upcoming Holiday season, for gift ideas and whatever. Basic format is going to be 100 rounds fired, since I believe that's the bare minimum needed to get a decent feel for the gun. More is of course better, but I have to work in the constraints of the dollar figures.
I'll welcome any ideas and suggestions, both concerning the choices and even the drafting of the posts. I would ultimatly wish to run these on a web page for future reference, and given that my writing skills are those of a brick, any input/editing is welcome.
I'm still a bit undecided as to the title. help me out here. I like cheap shots, but it's kinda negative. Maybe, just my .02 or something more positive.
