Great!<sarcasm>
Just what the average LEO needs. Another distraction.

I can see where this is going to really help in the real world. Now instead of having to worry in a shoot/don't shoot situation, another piece of rubbish is going to be heaped on top of an already stress filled situation. Yeah, I know I really want a cluttered mind there when I may need a clear thinking individual. Since most of these great strides in technology eventually end up as "exhibit D" at some point, I can see nothing of value to such a device unless it's used as a training tool, and only a training tool.[/rant]
No, I'm not an LEO, just some guy that would like to see them left pretty much alone to do their job.

I wonder if this is for real.
"This system supports any officer who fulfills his assignment professionally."

Sounds like the old, "If you have nothing to hide..." argument.

This could reduce the use of firearms by police resulting in:
- injury and death of more officers,
- reduced apprehension of BGs, and
- (subsequently) the injury and death of more civilians.

Those problems could justify further infringements upon the Bill of Rights.

Sheesh! It only gets "better"... (bleah!)

Then again, consider the little black box (in your new car) which records for court use your speed, use of brakes, and other data at the time of your car wreck.

"... the land of the free and the home of the brave." Indeed.
