A quick video of some refinishing work

In another thread someone suggested that I am not refinishing my guns, but instead just using photoshop on the pics. Thought I would make this quick video to dispel that rumor and to show the level of shine I like to take my stainless revolvers up to. Sorry the video gets a bit blurry in spots. I got to close to the camera and these mino's do not focus very well up close. :)

Without making this sound like a meeting of the mutual admiration society. That is awesome!

I was waiting for the how to section of the vid.

A "how-to" section would have been long and boring. It would have mainly consisted of a two hour section where I sat in my boxers in the floor while watching reruns of "The Golden Girls" on TV and rubbing on coats of Mother's Mag polish with one cloth then buffing it back off with another cloth about 500 times. :o

You really are going to convert us old blue loving handgun owners to stainless gun lovers arent you?

That really drives home how stainless that is'nt too far gone, with a little attention, can be brought back to outstanding condition.

Great stuff.

No offense PBP, but I think I will skip the video and stick with the hard cover on this one. LOL

holy smokes, that's one smoov' job you did on that pocket warmer..but I'm not clear as to how you got the nicks and scratches out, was it just with the Mother's polish?

Personally I think you used Photoshop on the pictures and Final Cut Studio for the video.

There's no way you can make stainless shine, it's just not possible.

:p
