A question about G23/G32 Conversion and Mag Capacity.

I recently purchased a replacement barrel for my G23 to convert it to 357 sig. The first rounds I fired through it were Winchesters. They loaded and fed fine and were very accurate for non-match ammo.

The next rounds I purchased were Remmington hollow points. With these rounds, I can only get 8-9 rounds in the mag, and the 9th round puts a dent in the case of the 8th round as I am "smashing" it into the mag.

The diameter of the case is the same, and I have already fired 357 sig. rounds through the gun with great success.

Has anyone else had any experience with the Remmington round doing this?

Any ideas as to the problem, particularly the loss of capacity in the magazine?

I usually get 10 rounds in the mag, no problem, even with the winchester ammo.
