A point to bring up to your media editors

This is a continuation of an earlier, perceptive post by Tamara along the lines of "Where's the blood?".

She had mentioned that despite a disaffected military and hot tempers in general, there was no military junta trying to install itself or bodies hanging from the lampposts.

This is an excellent point to bring up to your local editors - "Where's the Blood?".

If there was ever a reason to incite gun owners on both sides to man the barricades, this election was it. (Liberal cliches abound to make the point) Yet despite widespread gun ownership in this country, we didn't have any cammie-clad militiamen or rednecked Yahoos wearing NRA caps hoisting, let alone shooting, their evil-looking assault rifles in the air. There were no shootouts amongst the Gore/Bush partisans, and, despite our national Rent-A-Ranter's efforts, there were no minorities blazing away with their Saturday Night Specials. We ought to remind EVERYBODY of this fact.

Yet again, the liberals' distrust of the common man has been disproved. Just as their CCW "blood in the streets" mantra never comes to pass (to their dismay), the drooling hate-filled gun owner lives only in their own minds, and perhaps in their own pysches.
