A place to shoot in Tucson, AZ?

Since I didnt know where to post this and since it concerns a rifle, Im putting it here. I live in Tucson and I just moved here and I need a place to shoot my rifle. I have seen a few places but have had no luck at finding something close to me. If anyone knows any place where I could go let me know. Oh, and as well, since I am new at shooting I want to take some classes, so if anyone can recomend some that they know of in Tucson I would appreciate it a lot. Im eager to learn and become a good shot. :)

MDLewis. I'm in Tucson as well. There are a few "wildcat" ranges around and about, but if you want things like bench rests and the like, options are slim.

There is a gun range that just opened up on the SE corner of Tucson along the freeway. I think it is called Deer Tribe Gun Club or something like that. It is run by Rick Pratori (sp) an affable, pro-freedom ex-patriot from Romania or some such place. He needs your support. I hope you can spread the word since the City of Tucson and Pima County are often bending over backwards in an effort to close him down.

Brassroots Inc has their meetings there.

I have only been there at night so all I saw were several pistol bays. I don't think he has the high-power range up yet. Your $50 in dues will get him that much closer.
