Here's a couple I've tripped over the last few weeks.
Top one is a 1955, K-38 Masterpiece. Somewhat finish challenged, but the mechanicals check out tight. Very nice trigger. The D/A is not especially light, but is smooth as glass. The S/A breaks like the proverbal glass rod.
The bottom one is a 1948, K-22. That one is in very nice condition, and came with the blue/gold box with matching S/N written on the bottom. It has the flat post war finish S&W was still using.
Both of them have diamond Magna grips, which I'm such a sucker for. The K-22's number to the gun, but the not the 38's.
I haven't fired the 38 at all yet, and have only plinked a few rounds with the 22, but I hope to get them out to the range in a couple of days. I suspect they'll draw a few Ohhhhsss and Ahhhhhhsss'
