This is my first attempt at posting images. Hope it works. These are two of my three Model 66's.

It looks like your image was on your "a:" drive. You can add a locally stored image to you post by using the Attach file function.

If you want to use the
option to imbed the image in your post, you need to upload your image to a hosting service. Then you can put the address of the image in between.

Good Luck...

Joe

BTW: How do you like the Sony Mavica?

Joe,

I like the Sony quite a bit. Especially since I got a good price break on it which allowed me to start experimenting with digital pics. I have gotten some good pictures with it, but it seems like some of the people on TFL have some much better digital cameras. At least for close up shots such as of firearms.

You are correct, the picture was on the disk from the camera. Well...let's try this again.

It isn't necessarily the camera. Most 2 megapixel cameras are fine. The pics that you post to the internet are usually pretty small in size anyway (lower resolution) what really makes the difference is composition and lighting. Look at the good pictures and see what they are doing. Get up close and use diffused light, turn the flash off on the digital camera. Use natural light if possible. Take lots of pictures (no $ for film) - then touch up the best ones with Photoshop or the equivalent.

- Have fun

"What type of grips are on your revolvers ??? "

They are both Pachmayr grips. The 4" has a set of Pachmayr Presentation grips (my favorite because they fit my hands well) while the 2 1/2" has Pachmayr grooved grips, not sure exactly what model, they came with the gun. But they fit well also so I might just keep them.

"It isn't necessarily the camera."

I know, your advice is right on. However, I am the kind of guy they made simple point and shoot cameras for!

I will have to experiment with the rest of my collection and see how I can do.

Thanks!

The grips on the 2.5 inch M66 are Pachmayr Grippers. If you want something smaller, they have a Presentation Compac model for round butt K-frames. Uncle Mike's (now Butler Creek) also has good ones.

Those two M66's are a superb pair of handguns, suitable for many needs. Congratulations!

Thanks! That's what I was trying to think of. I normally do not like finger groove grips but these feel very comfortable.
