Hey guys just went and put a down payment on a new Para Ord 7.45 LDA, just wondering if anyone owns one and has some words of wisdom to offer to me. Any info would be great. I think it's a great gun. What's your opinions??? Thanks, Dave

I got to shoot one last week. I only fired two magazines through it, but I liked it. The trigger had a fair bit of take-up with only a very little bit of creep. The sear broke cleanly and there was some over-travel. My over-all impression of the gun was very good. Good luck with your new gun.

Hey guys thanks for the info. but would appreciate some more if it's out there.

Please help me out everyone with some more info!!!, I want to be as well informed as possible. Thanks again, Dave

I picked up my 7-45 because I'm partial to the 1911 feel and performance but never felt completely comfortable carrying cocked & locked. I liked it so much that I went back the following month and bought the LDA 18-9 Ltd for use in IDPA.

I only made two internal changes: I added a full length recoil rod to the 7-45 and a better fitting barrel bushing to the 18-9.

Having put 2,000 + rounds through each, I've yet to have a malfunction of any kind.

I have a 7.45 LDA and a 6.45 LDA. Both have proven to be excellent performers. I have fired the 7.45 a great deal more than the 6.45 and it has been utterly reliable, extremely accurate and easy to shoot. The trigger is amazing. My experiences with the factory have been quite positive (they were quick, courteous and professional about fixing a problem that was not of their doing). I have used it in IDPA and it acquitted itself well, no failures of any kind (at least not on the gun's part!)

The 6.45 has also proven to be an excellent shooter, particularly for such a small gun. Also very accurate and reliable and suprisingly easy to control.

I have full faith in the LDA pistols and wouldn't (and haven't) hesitate to carry one with which to defend myself.

Good luck in your decision.
