FBI Computer Flaw Halts Gun Sales

I like this part:
quote:
With the ``Million Mom March'' scheduled in Washington and 70 other cities Sunday to demand more gun controls and expanded background checks, both federal officials and gun dealers expressed concern that some people would jump to the conclusion the two events were linked or the background check failure was deliberate.

Federal officials rejected either idea. "The mere suggestion that we would orchestra such a thing is totally outrageous," Bresson said. (Paul Bresson, FBI spokesman)[/quote]

Well, I never! How could people suggest such a thing! The very suggestion is outrageous! Yeah, right.

Yes, the government would never lie to us would it?

Got to give the Clinton administration credit. They have balls that the republican administrations never seem to have. If national media reports are right, they got written into the legislation that if a deal isn't approved within 3 days the person gets the gun, unless the name is never entered in the computer in the first place. In that case the purchase can be denied forever!

Who needs more legislation, with a mere executive order, Clinton can stop all new gun sales overnight for the remainder of his administration. Think the Republicrats would have the balls to impeach him?

Coinky Dink, just a Coinky dink. ;) ;) ;)

And what's to stop them from KEEPING the system down?

How long can they keep it down? What mechanism is in place if they can't get it back up?

There is no mechanism in place if they can't get it back up. And the feds are immune from civil actions resulting from the damage to businesses.

I'd say there should be an investigation but knowing how corrupt Justice is these days, they'd just find a way to blame gunowners.

Look how easy it would be for them to simply not get the system back on line. Ever.

It's that easy.

Does this mean that the Constitution has been suspended until Monday?

If the Second Amendment has been temporarily suspended, then do we have any other rights, as guaranteed us by the Constitution of the United States of America?

I think that this whole business of a computer problem, is another attempt to deny the Rights. I fully expect to see more of this as the days go by.

Again, why are we sitting on our hands while this happens???

Check out this web site:
www.senate.gov

And let your Senate folks know how you feel about this ;latrest transgression against the Constitution, and BOR.

Will we make it until November to elect the slimeball out of the country?

Best Regards,
Don

The most foolish mistake we could make would be to allow the subjected people to carry arms; history shows that all conquerers who have allowed their subjected people to carry arms have prepared their own fall.
