Well, the doctor was invited to the Potomac Day to march in the Bush section of the parade.
I showed up with my daughter and my TRT gear...
Lots of people were wondering about the shirt.
I wore my tricorn hat & brought my marching snare drum. We found the republicans in the parade line and joined the group of 25 or so marchers
Rep Connie Morella was there along with Jean Rossler. They rode in vehicles.
When the group moved out i fired up a militia march pattern. They all thought i was quite patriotic. Other than the local NRA ILA election coordinator, i was the only pro gunny there.
Folks, we need to show up at these kinds of BS events.
When i approached Connie later at the street fair, i asked what she was going to do to improve her F rating with the NRA. She said that she was not against guns. We chatted for a few minutes about the local gunshow issue. It did not seem like she was aware that 99% of the sales at the show were on the "books".
Perhaps we should be volunteering our expertise to the local politicians.
They certainly like it when we march in their parades.
