Probably in 58-59 with a serial number that low.

I just got back from the woods.
The Bearcat did great. I'm very surprised that I could hit ANYTHING with it, but it is actually quite accurate.
The trigger breaks real clean, and the sights are easy to keep aligned. I was hitting cans and apples at 25 yards with ease.
You don't so much grasp the gun like usual, but you just kinda stuff it into your fist and leave the index finger out. I found it to be a natural "pointer" for me.
Quick on target with little recoil.
A really neat litle gun, that I will enjoy shooting.
Now....to find some leather for it....maybe crossdraw.....
