A lesson learned...

Since I don't load my own, I made a decision long ago to only fire factory ammo through my guns. Well, recently I bought some reman from a reputable arms dealer at a gun show at what I thought was a good price.

Today at the range I was shooting some of the stuff through my GP100. As I fired one of my rounds, I didn't notice a strike on the target -- the center ring was dark anyway, so I just thought the hole wasn't visible. The next shot was muffled. I inspected the gun and discovered the previous round had not exited the barrel.

I normally buy factory ammo in bulk via the internet. After thousands of rounds, the first time I break my own rule I get a bad result. Lesson learned. Never again.

Fortunately, I also had my 1911 and some good ammo so I was able to finish my session.

I left the range feeling both stupid and lucky. Thank God that Ruger is built the way it is.

Lesson learned & no one was hurt! Plus, you went shooting! :D What more do you need?
Good to hear nothing broke & your weren't hurt. ;)

I know from lessons learned. I blew up a Glock almost 2 years ago  I was pulling polymer from my hands & face all weekend

VictorLouis-

The gun is currently in the hands of a gunsmith. I should know by Monday if there is any damage. I certainly hope not, but if there is I have only myself to blame.

If it isn't already sent, word of caution: Get any aftermarket parts off the gun before sending it in, because ruger is going to set everything back to "factory" specs.
