I was just wondering .

Is there any lefties out there who just shoot right handed . Im a leftie and i target shoot with a .22 right handed and i find no problem with it {This is on a bench though .

Im askin would i be able to go out and shoot a shotgun {Never shot one before } right handed .

Im used to using right handed rifles so it doesn,t seem strange for me to shoot right handed .

Would my dominent eye ruin this dream on me though ?

Some people have made the switch. Noted instructor Vicki Ash for example. It's not easy.

Some folks, including me, close the off eye. This is not an unqualified success. One loses stereoscopic vision and half one's visual field.

Some use the Magic Dot, which blocks just enough view of the bead from the offending eye to make the other one do the job. Trouble is, we're supposed to focus on the target.

Probably the simplest thing to do is just shoot from the port side.
