A Kouple of Kit Guns

Sorry for the red background, not the best, but I thought you might enjoy these. Two copies of the S & W .22/32 Kit Gun, Model 34-1, circa 1968, I think. Mint nickel with four-inch barrels, each in the original silver box, correctly labeled, with owner’s manual and tool kit in the original plastic bag. And, consecutive serial numbers!

Found recently in a local gun shop. One seems to be unfired, the other, maybe a few rounds. I have not had a .22-cal Smith before, so will do some shooting with that one to see what happens.

I love everything about these high-quality, handy, little weapons, right down to the countersunk chambers.

Very cool! I've got a couple of Model 63s, one a 4 inch and the other a 2 inch. Saw a 2 inch at a gun show recently, and the guy wanted $1600 for it...

I love the little kit guns - gave a 4" blued one (pinned barrel) to my grandson several years ago. Still have the 63 (from 1981) though:
