A Great Holster!!

Kentucky Rifle

New member
Maybe I should have put this post in the "Gear" section, but I am so pleased that I wanted everyone who carries a pistol concealed to read this.
I have found a great new holster at a good price. It's called a BS-2 and it's made by M/D Enterprises in Texas. It's very hot in Kentucky and sometimes it's difficult to conceal my pistol under just a T-shirt. I've found the answer, a BS-2! It's a high ride holster that keeps all parts of the pistol above the belt line. Extremely easy to keep things out of sight with an untucked T-shirt. I wear mine on my right hip and nobody has noticed it yet. There is no retention strap on the holster, however I think I could stand on my head without the pistol falling out.
I just had to tell you how pleased I am with the BS-2. For concealing my pistol, I've found nothing better. The price is even quite reasonable.

I have one also but with the thumb break. One of these days I will get a shoulder rig from him.
Stay safe.

I have gone to the BS-2 as my primary carry rig for my Glock 19. It is a great holster, rides very high, and pulls in close.

But if you have a short V-shaped torso, this holster may ride too high for you, It gets into my ribs a little sometimes.

so he cocked both his pistols, spit in the dirt, and walked out into the street.

W: thanks for the heads-up; sounds like something I'd like -- but I can't seem to find references to M/D in any of the searches I've tried. got the contact info, or better, a link?

I have one of Mark's YCS holsters without the thumbreak for a Springfield 1911. I love the holster. I also have one of his custom belts...the two match perfectly, and hold my gun perfectly.

Why is everybody all boud up about the AK-47? YEAH, I GOT ONE, WHAT'S IT TO YA?!

Traitorjack,
Either one of the links provided in this thread will take you to M/D Enterprises. There are several models to choose from. Mark is pretty quick when it comes to mailing orders, too. I also purchased a great leather pocket holster for my Kel-Tec P-32. It's all leather, but with the "rough" side out. This, combined with the leather hook, makes getting the P-32 out of my pocket a very quick maneuver. The holster stays in my pocket and the pistol comes out fast. The price of the pocket holster for the P-32 was only about $35.00. I consider it a bargain.

I, too, am the proud owner of 2 of Mark's Holsters. One is the BS-2 combo for the S&W
457 and the other is an AAP for a custom 3" S&W 629. both are excellent. he also make an excellent speedloader pouch that is not normally catalogue that is fantastic. I will be buying more form him in the future.

Thank you guys.
While I don't usually frequent this forum I do lurk here often.
It is very gratifying to here you are all pleased with the product.
May none of you ever have to use it in anger.

I too have a number of holsters from Mark THG and I am waiting for one now. The BS-2 is great with my G27. The ride is so high that the muzzle of the pistol hits right at the bottom of the belt. Frontsight, sure am glad you like that YCS, but I bet you got it made 'pretty', Mark does mine 'ugly'.

Jeff,
I been wearing the ugly version for my Officers model for a while now and made one for my Hi power.
It aint no easier to make em ugly than it is to make em pretty!
