A great day with the 1860

This is how it has been going today..... 6 in 1 big ol' hole, one hand, 30± feet. (I don't have a mark, I just stand and draw).
Now, of course not all were touching in every can today, some cans had em scattered around, but I did have more than a couple of cans with one big ragged hole at the end of 6 shots. :D It was a great day!

Thanks Guys! It was exceptional shooting. (meaning.... luck!);)
But I really enjoyed it, even though it was really cold and windy here. But I just had to take advantage of my only day off.:)

I'm happy to get 2 in the can, but on any day I one-hole em up in more than one can, I'm gonna take a pic and crow about it. :D:rolleyes:

There's plenty of time to catch up!
It's Saturday here, once again, and I have been stuck indoors for 2 weeks with weather and jobs..... but today, I have already spoken with the Ranger in the fire tower and told him to not worry about smoke on this end of the county.... it's just my back yard!!!
'Cap em and snap em, boys... them cans have been sittin' out there on that fence, talkin' about startin' some trouble, for two weeks now.
It's time for some payback!;):D

I thank the 1860 is my favorite bp pistol. I know the 58 Remmy is first on the list maybe. But there's just something aboiut a 60 Army that feels right. It even looks right. Like mine so much I'm thinking about getting another.:D Good shooting Beagle:cool:

I was at the Texas Muzzle Loading Rifle Association's annual spring shoot and after shooting downright embarrassing scores in men's pistol with my tricked out target pistols, I got out my 1860 Colt and entered the "as issue" revolver match and shot a score of 91, my best pistol score of the whole weekend.

25 yards one handed (because that's the rules)
