A good movie to show gun control advocates.

I just finished watching a movie named "A Lonely Place to Die (2011)", filmed in Britain, actually in the Scottish Highlands. A group of mountain climbers find a buried child, who was kidnapped, bust still alive. They then decide to save her, when the kidnappers get onto their trail, whom are ready to kill them. Of course, the mountain climbing adventurers have no protection on them, and the kidnappers have guns. One can guess how this will turn out in the end. If they only had carried some sort of protection with them on their trip. Of course, the British Parliament has banned handguns, and the legal carry of them.

In general fiction is no help in debates on laws or public policy. Fiction is fiction. It is by definition something that didn't happen. It's not real and doesn't prove anything.

So there's really nothing to discuss here.
