A good distributor to buy from with a C&R FFL?

I am new to the C&R world and I was wanting to get your opinions about distributors. What is service like, shipping time, reputation, are the guns accurately represented? I know there are many of these in Shotgun News. Which distributors are the best? Who should I avoid? If any of your recomendations have web sites, I would like to know their domain name. Thanks, martin6

I've had good luck with AIM Surplus (http://www.aimsurplus.com). I have purchased various Mausers, AKs, an FAL, and a Mosin-Nagant M44 from them. Friends have purchases AKs and a Makarov from them. They are good folks to deal with and have always delivered as promised. They did ship the wrong caliber rifle to us once, but they made it right. I plan to order from them again.

I've also had good luck with J&G Sales in Arizona (http://www.jgsales.com). I've read complaints about them in others postings, but friends and I have purchased Makarovs and a bunch of ammo from them without a problem.

Just got my original No.5Mk1 Enfield Jungle Carbine from Southern Ohio Guns. Century Arms International is also another well-known distributor of C&R firearms. They will keep your FFL on file, and send you monthly sales flyers. You call them up with your credit card and tell them what you want, voila', it's on it's way to your house! Such an expensive hobby, heehee! There's Gibbs Rifle Company, as well as Navy Arms, and Sonja Ellison's. You should check out the Cruffler website for the best info on what's out there...
