A Good Afternoon At The Range

I’ve been shooting a little all winter whenever the weather would cooperate, mostly .45ACP and .44 magnum.
Even on most decent days there was wind. Sunday 2-27-11 was 75° and not much wind so I decided I’d do a relaxing range trip with my scoped Ruger MKII. It is a 5.5” bull barrel with a BSA 2X7 variable in a Weaver mount.
I used a HySkore Pivoting Pistol Rest to really try to get some good groups. Been awhile since I tried this and I don’t remember the benches shaking like they do now.

Took some shootemup ammo along with some target ammo. This thing shoots really well, I just wish I still did.:o
Most everything shot into a half inch or so at 25 yards and the target ammo was half that.

If the pictures work you can see some of the setup and range.
