I am new to the o/u type of shotguns and I have a few questions. First I am looking at getting one of the new CZ o/u. I want a gun that I will not be afriad of putting some dings and dents in. I do alot of chucker and quil in some rough country. My 870 looks like it has been through a war! So what I am trying to say is Im looking for a so called workhores type of gun. The other question I have is I see that there is two types of triger set ups one with 2 triggers and one that they call a single selective triger. I have seen a few that have a swich down buy the triger what is that for? Thank you for your time and help.

I have 2 of the Woodcock Deluxe models (20&12 ga), they have case hardened colored receivers, one trigger and the safety also changes which barrel fires first by moving from right to left or vice versa while on safe. They are about $850 per gun and I think worth it. They do make some less expensive models.
They are made in Turkey by Huglu.
They are set up with extractors to raise a unfired shell or ejectors to eject fired hulls. Hope this helps.

I Recommend The Baikal. Very Rugged And Reliable. Not Real Fancy And Pretty. And Around $400. Mine Has 2 Triggers Not A Selector Switch And I Couldnt Be Happier With It. :)

If you are not used to 2 triggers you will miss your follow up shots the first couple of times you shoot. alot of people like them, I don't. Double triggers are more common on "Classic" looking English style side by sides. What ever shotgun is in your budget, look at the oil rubbed finish and stay away from the glossy ones. They show every scratch and ding.
