A different delton AR bolt?

My friend had a delton AR 16". I have an identical model. A few months ago at the range, his bolt pretty much cracked and fell apart. The part of the bolt where the shell extractor is, just broke into about 3 pieces. This got me thinking about my bolt. So I opened up my AR, and it has a different bolt. It was the exact same model that he ordered but around a year earlier. Where as mine was purchased right at a month ago. Does anyone know of delton replacing their bolts? Or anything similar?

Different how? They are both 5.56 AR15 bolts, so there can't be a whole lot of difference there.

As to parts, it isn't unusual for manufacturers to buy parts from whoever meets their spec (if they have one) and has them available at the right price point. If you look at the forge marks on a Colt or Bushmaster for example, you'll see that they buy their upper receivers from different places routinely.

The "bolt" should be the same if it's the same caliber. There are different "bolt carriers"
