A Dem Victory Helps Us Down the Road.

After pondering this thing I think that Bore will win. If he loses the battle in Florida he'll take it to the Electoral College. That actually helps us. Even if he wins he'll be exposed as the man that bypassed the Constitution. Once people suffer under his tax and spend ways, once they see the fiasco that he makes of foreign affairs, once the economy runs into the ground, once he's exposed for the inept idiot (with just a good memeroy for statistics) that he is, we'll look better in 2004. A Bore victory would head off the danger of an Evita Rodham victory in 2004. We must work hard on our reps and senators to prevent future anti-RKBA legislation. Just my two cents.

I'd love to agree, but I truly believe Snore will win, and ultimately, no one (in power) will give a crap. Actually, most Americans won't care either. Most of them weren't even registered to vote. I'm so depressed.

The liberals have a tendency to self destruct. G/L don't have knowledge and ability to deal with wars (maybe in the middle east), or anything for that matter.

The problem is, what will they destroy in the process? economy, military readiness, bill of rights.........???

Our economy is already showing signs of slowdown. Layoffs, internet .com failures, flakey stock market and interest rates are being raised. If it continues and Bush gets in, he will be blamed for it.

Yep, Klinton has sacrificed long term economic gain for a short term boom and whomever is the next president will be blamed for killing the good times, even though the writing has been on the wall for about a year. He's worn out our military, our economy, our Constitution, and our patience.

The most that the next president can do is repair all the damage, which I really don't think Gore is capable of or willing to do. If Bush wins, he'll probably do a good job of repair, but then will be characterized as a "do-nothing" president in the next election.
