A deal I found on ammo $50 off on $100 purchase

I have no affiliation with them, but stumbled across the deal. You pay $50 for a voucher worth $100 on ammo at USAammo.com. I was about to order from them as the .40 prices are pretty good (and I lost all mine in the boating disaster;)). $12.45 for 180gr FMJ /50 and $14.45 for 180gr JHP/50.

Good news is that the deal is certainly real.

Bad news is the code isn't working just yet.

WORSE news is that the deal is SOLD OUT. Hope some of you jumped on it.

I tried to look at "recent deals," but only a couple came up. I can't decide if I want to give them my email or not.

Anybody done enough business with them to know if they're any good? I'm concerned that their deals may sound too good to be true. . .
 
I have never done business with Gearhog or USAammo but I called USAammo to make sure it was legit and they said yes so I bought a voucher.

Just used it too. :)

I was having trouble redeeming the coupon.

If you still are having issues. there is a "trick". They sent me an email on it.

You use the number as a "Gift Certificate" -- not as a coupon. There is a select button you have to click to determine how you are going to pay. Just enter the number in there and it will calculate the remaining. Once it does that, click the select button to pay by Credit card.

Don't forget in the "coupon code" area to enter "MOREAMMO" to get 1/2 off shipping. I just love double savings!

Worked out to 197.61 for 750 rounds of 180gr FMJ in .40s&w. (yeah, I upped the amount by 250 rounds). The deal cut my total out of pocket down to 147.61 including shipping. That's 19.68 cents a round in a box at my door step.

Hope you guys got in for some of the savings!
